About your hosts

Hi, 

We are Kate and Kris and we run IELTS Kite. As former IELTS examiners for both the British Council and IDP, we understand what your IELTS examiners are looking for when they assess your writing and speaking. We have taught IELTS for many of the major IELTS preparation centres and have prepared many students for IELTS, so we know the best ways to help you.

We offer different IELTS courses and programmes designed around your needs. Many IELTS students do not need generic group courses where you learn all four skills. You have different strengths and weaknesses to others, so we treat you as an individual and focus on your specific needs. 

We work with many students who need a high band score but cannot achieve it in writing and/or speaking. By showing you what you need to do to meet the band descriptors for the level you need, we help you work on your weak areas to achieve your goal.

What platform will you use for the session?

We will use the Zoom platform for the session. You will get a link in your email before the event, so don’t forget to check it. 

How can I get the links for the session?

We will email you a link to the Zoom room before the event, so make sure you check your email inbox carefully, including your spam box. 

I cannot attend the live sessions. Will there be recordings?

We understand that we have followers from all over the world and you may be working or sleeping at this time. If you sign up for the event but you cannot attend, we will send you the recording to watch later.

How can I make sure you answer my questions?

While we will try to answer your questions in the sessions, we may not have enough time. If you send us your questions before the event, we will make sure your questions are answered during the session.
